<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily configure setting between a connection device and a service provider. <P>SOLUTION: This connection device 100 connected to a line connection device 30 mediating connection to a network NT has an imaging part 160. A paper sheet 20 with information unique to the user among setting information for connecting the connection device 100 to the line connection device 30 recorded thereon in the form of a QR code is captured by a camera 167, and the QR code is analyzed to acquire the unique information (an ID and a password) of the user.
