<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the mass-productivity (production efficiency) and the yield in the manufacture of a lens and to make the lens further higher in quality by further improving releasability. <P>SOLUTION: When a glass lens L is manufactured by use of a ceramic mold 5 comprising an upper mold 2 and a lower mold 3 and having a cavity 4 for molding a glass lens, the ceramic mold 5 used is prepared by integrally manufacturing each of the upper mold 2 and the lower mold 3 including the cavity 4 from a Cr-based ceramic material M. An intermediate material Lo of the glass lens is molded by heating (S2) and pressurizing (S3), while through the whole process or a part of the process from starting the molding process until after opening the mold, the upper mold 2 and/or the lower mold 3 are shaken (S4) at a shaking frequency of 5 to 100 [kHz]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
