<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stove burner capable of preventing abnormal rise of an ambient temperature caused by user's operation to increase a heating amount after performing a processing to lower the ambient temperature by forcibly reducing the heating amount of a heating means in the stove burner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A heating amount limiting means disposed on a controller forcibly makes fire power of a right stove burner level 6 (t<SB>10</SB>), when a state that the fire power is level 7 or more is continued for 25 minutes or more from ignition (t=0) of the right stove burner. Then the heating amount limiting means sets a time T<SB>a2</SB>(t<SB>11</SB>-t<SB>12</SB>, heating time allowed) to allow the fire power of level 7 or more continuously according to a time T<SB>a1</SB>(t<SB>10</SB>-t<SB>11</SB>) to T<SB>11</SB>when the fire power becomes level 7 or more next the longer, the longer the time T<SB>a1</SB>is.
