<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a debugging method without causing any trouble on a debugging operation even when a correction processing is executed in the debugging operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The debugging method in a debugging system equipped with a computer device for performing access through a plurality of address space to a memory by a virtual storage technology and a debugging device to be used by the computer device includes: a first process for making the computer device finally stop exceptional processing to be performed when an exceptional event occurs, and start the debugging device; and a second process for, when the debugging device is started by the first process, arranging a correction processing program to make the computer device function as a correction processing part in the same address space where an instruction to generate the exceptional event is stored.
