<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for displaying data on a map, for flexibly corresponding to a new display mode. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device includes: an area definition table for defining an area polygon being coordinates of a plurality of points defining an area on the map for area classification; a map display determining database 1 having the map display definition table defining display method data defining a display method of analysis object data and the area classification for a display condition including map classification and a reduced scale; and a map display determining processing part 4 searching the map display definition table, obtaining the area classification and the display method data matching an input display condition, searching the area definition table with the area classification to obtain the area polygon, extracting the analysis object data included in the area polygon, and displaying the analysis object data on map data according to the display condition with the display method determined with the display method data.
