<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device capable of reducing the deformation of a light reflection part, an optical scanner, and an image forming apparatus thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optical device includes a plate shaped movable plate 211, a pair of shaft members 212, 213 rotatably supporting the movable plate 211, and a drive means 6 torsionally deforming the pair of shaft members 212, 213 and rotating the movable plate 211. The movable plate 211 includes the light reflection part 211a reflecting light and connection parts 211b, 211c disposed between the light reflection part 211a and the pair of shaft members 212, 213.
