<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material which is lightweight and flame-retardant and is therefore suitably used for an interior material used inside the fuselage of an airplane, and has adequate strength and surface hardness not to get damaged by the blow of equipment and material used in a cabin or articles of passengers on board. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The resin composition is used for the molding of a large component for the transportation equipment particularly having ≥523 cm<SP>2</SP>surface area and contains a thermoplastic resin, particularly polypropylene homopolymer as a main component and is made flame retardant by the addition of a phosphorus-containing flame retardant and further polytetrafluoroethylene or a metallic compound.
