<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door device capable of holding a door open without additionally installing a bracket on a frame or a door member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A hinge plate opening angle restricting mechanism 71 for locking the opening operation of one hinge plate 43 at a specified angle is provided to an area ranging from the other hinge plate 41 to the one hinge plate 43. In the hinge plate opening angle restricting mechanism 71, a guide plate 73 having a guide hole 72 is integrally attached to the other hinge plate 41 by weld parts 73a, 73b, a pocket part 75 is formed at the lower part of the guide plate 73, and the pocket part 75 is declined from the upper end edge to the guide part 76. A bracket part 77 is integrally formed at the upper edge of the lower side one hinge plate 43. The vertical shaft part 79a of an L-rod 79 is loosely fitted to the shaft hole 78 of the bracket part 77. The L-rod 79 is slidably fitted to the guide hole 72.
