<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus, system and method for information processing, a program and a recording medium, enabling efficient modification of scale reduction even during document viewing and editing work. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus for editing a document includes a display means for displaying the document, a recognition means for recognizing a particular modification condition, and a display condition modification means for displaying the document on the display means under a preset display condition according to the recognition of the particular modification condition by the recognition means.
