<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new steam reforming catalyst capable of eliminating the problems in a steam reformation of methanol, dimethyl ether or carbon monoxide, particularly a steam reforming catalyst that scarcely deteriorates an activity in catalyst and can keep a high hydrogen production velocity for a long period of time even if a reaction is performed at a high temperature, and to provide a method for manufacturing hydrogen using the catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The steam reforming catalyst for methanol, dimethyl ether or carbon monoxide is provided, wherein each metal element of copper, zinc, and indium is contained as an oxide and further, an oxide of zirconium or aluminum or an oxide of yttrium is contained together with an oxide of zirconium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
