<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector system for an electrosurgical generator which makes possible to selectively connect various surgical instruments to the corresponding electrosurgical generator. <P>SOLUTION: The connector system 10 for connecting the electrosurgical instruments to the electrosurgical generator 14 is provided. This connection system 10 includes a plug part 102 which can be connected to the electrosurgical instrument 12 and a plug insertion part 104 supported by this electrosurgical generator 14. This plug part of the electrosurgical instrument has a shape peculiar to a specific manufacturer. This plug insertion part 104 has a shape which accepts the plug part 102 of the electrosurgical instrument of a specific manufacturer and the plug part of the electrosurgical instrument of other arbitrary manufacturer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
