<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that controllability of a rotary machine is reduced due to, for example, the fact that the center of amplitude of a current applied to a motor generator varies per phase in an over-modulation control region. <P>SOLUTION: High-pass filters 52, 50 extract ripple components from real currents id, iq on dq axes. The outputs of the high-pass filters 52, 50 are subjected to three-phase conversion in a three-phase conversion section 54, and the subjected to proportional integration calculation by ripple suppressing portions 56, 57 and 58, and become correction quantities of command voltages vur, vvr and vwr.
