<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogenation catalyst capable of manufacturing an olefin polymer of a higher molecular weight by efficiently controlling a hydrogen concentration in a polymerization reaction system, and a manufacturing method for the olefin polymer capable of manufacturing the olefin polymer of a higher molecular weight. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogenation catalyst is obtained by contacting Component (A), Component (B) and Component (C). In the manufacturing method for the olefin polymer, the olefin is polymerized in the presence of hydrogen, Component (A), Component (B) and Component (D). Component (A): a titanocene compound, Component (B): a silicone compound represented by general formula [1]: Si(OR<SP>1</SP>)<SB>4</SB>[1] (wherein R<SP>1</SP>represents a 1-20C hydrocarbon group, and the four R<SP>1</SP>s may be the same or different), Component (C): an alkyl metal compound, and Component (D): a catalyst for olefin polymerization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
