摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of eliminating air bubbles in a liquid in a liquid jet apparatus. SOLUTION: A defoaming mechanism, for eliminating air bubbles from the liquid circulated in the liquid jet apparatus, has a decompressing chamber plate 11 arranged adjacently above a diaphragm plate 10. Also a first defoaming chamber plate 12 is arranged adjacently below the diaphragm plate 10. A second defoaming chamber plate 13 is arranged adjacently below the first defoaming chamber plate 12. The defoaming mechanism includes both a defoaming chamber 92 with a sidewall extended in the vertical direction to capture the air bubbles in the liquid, and a communication part 79c which makes the defoaming chamber and an internal channel 79 communicate with each other in the sidewall.
