PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle steering device capable of performing damper control according to a vehicle speed and obtaining the optimum steering feeling. SOLUTION: Since the axial force of a front wheel can be reduced by increasing offset of a king pin shaft of a suspension device for a turning wheel as much as possible, but steering rigidity is reduced, a power generator 7 is used as a steering damper device 1. Namely, control for connecting/releasing both terminals of an armature coil of the power generator 7 of the steering damper device 1 according to a vehicle speed is performed. PWM duty is increased at high speed, regenerative electric power is generated on the power generator 7 by connecting both terminals by the long ON time, and steering rigidity is enhanced by adding braking to a steering wheel 2. The power generator 7 is not operated by releasing both terminals at low speed and the steering rigidity is weakened.
