PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine for making the number of stored commodities more appropriate by determining the number of restocking in consideration of a quality preservation period. SOLUTION: In this automatic vending machine which is configured to store a quality reservation period by commodity stored in a column, and to stop the sales of commodities from the column in which the commodity whose quality preservation period is expired is stored, the number of sales of commodities sold from the previous restocking time of the commodity till the current restocking time of commodity is determined by column, and the determined number of sales is set as the number of restocking of commodity (step S2); and the number of restocking of commodity is corrected on the basis of a period until the quality reservation period of the currently restocked commodity (step S3). Thus, it is possible to set the number of restocking of commodity to be restocked in consideration of the quality preservation period, and to make the number of stored commodities more appropriate.
