PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel integrated with protective plate, wherein a liquid crystal display element is reinforced, by bonding the liquid crystal display element and an observation surface protection plate with full strength. SOLUTION: A protruding portion 2a, on which a driver element 16 is to be mounted, is formed on an observation-side substrate 2, and an observation-side polarizing plate 12 is formed into a shape smaller than the observation-side substrate 2; and an observation surface protection plate 18 formed into a shape, covering the whole of the observation-side substrate 2, including the protruding portion 2a, is disposed on the observation side of a liquid crystal display element 1, which is stuck on the outer surface of the observation-side substrate 2, with the peripheral edge of the observation-side polarizing plate 12 being located farther inside than the peripheral edge of the observation-side substrate 2; a resin layer 19 made to correspond to a region having a wider area than the observation-side polarizing plate 12, is provided between the liquid crystal display element 1 and the observation surface protection plate 18; and the observation surface protection plate 18 is bonded to an outer surface of the observation-side polarizing plate 12 of the liquid crystal display element 1 by the resin layer 19 and the outer surface of a portion exposed around the observation-side polarizing plate 12 of the observation-side substrate 2.
