PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply perform the uniform cooling of a round bar 2 when taking the object of cooling as the round bar. SOLUTION: By arranging the round bar 2 of the object of cooling inside a tubular body 3, arranging at least two cooling nozzles 4 per the same cross section in the circumferential direction of the tubular body 3 and hitting the cooling media which are jetted from the cooling nozzles 4 to the inner wall 7 of the tubular body 3, the round bar 2 is cooled. The cooling nozzles 4 are arranged at fixed intervals in the axial direction of the tubular body 3 and at fixed intervals in the circumferential direction of the tubular body 3 inside the body 3.
