<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stop which can readily and surely lock a door at a full open position and can surely lock a plate, in the door stop for fixing the door at the full open position, by making a door-side magnet attract to a magnetic body plate which is slidably arranged on a floor surface. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The door stop comprises: a seat fixed to the floor surface; the plate made of a magnetic body turnably fitted to the seat; a housing fixed near the lower end of the door; a hook extending downward along the door from the lower position of the housing; a rod vertically moving in the housing; a pressed portion provided to the upper end of the rod integrally or a separation body for vertically moving the rod; and the magnet provided within the housing. Characteristically, the rod and the pressed portion are connected together via a cooperation mechanism; the plate is provided with a projection and is raised with the magnet; and when the pressed portion is pressed, the projection and the hook are locked with each other.
