<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shield sheet such that an insulating member provided on a surface of a conductive layer is efficiently and cleanly removed and the adhesion property between the conductive layer after the insulating member is removed and a conductive adhesive layer used to stick a member for electric connection from the conductive layer is excellent, and to provide a method of manufacturing the electromagnetic wave shield sheet. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave shield sheet having the conductive layer on one surface of a transparent base is characterized in that a recessed portion is formed on a surface of a grounding region of a peripheral edge of the conductive layer on the opposite side from the transparent base, and the area rate of the recessed portion to the grounding region is ≥50%.
