<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: centrifugal separation by a decanter or the like is conventionally widely used for solid-liquid separation of Shochu (distilled spirit) lees, requiring a great deal of equipment investment and much power, which imposes a large burden on a manufacturer, and fine organic particles are not sufficiently removed only by the decanter. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a solid-liquid separating device for Shochu lees, disk-shaped filter bodies whose center portion is vertically raised are horizontally disposed, a filter medium is extended on the upper surface of the filter body, liquid supplying nozzles for the Shochu lees are installed near the center portion on the upper surface of the filter medium, the under surface of the filter body forms a tray for receiving filtrate, the receiving tray is inclined from the periphery toward the center so that the filtrate is concentrated toward the center, a rotating shaft penetrates the center portion of the filter body, a part of the receiving tray near the rotating shaft is bent downward, and a gap between the receiving tray and the rotating shaft serves as a discharge port of the filtrate.
