PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taurolidine solution with a higher stability without requiring a specific storage adjustment and solving problems in stability of conventional high concentration taurolidine solutions. SOLUTION: The substantially isotonic about 1.5-3 wt.% taurolidine aqueous solution includes stability increasing amounts of NaCl, KCl, CaCl<SB>2</SB>, NaHCO<SB>3</SB>and their mixture, about 1-10 wt.% of PVP having about 1,000-15,000 average molecular wt. and in addition, about 0.3-1 wt.% of taurine.
