<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for decreasing chances wherein a telephone call is disturbed, and for giving a chance to accept a call request to a user who makes a telephone call. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A telephone body 20 determines whether there is a speech communication device which has an in-standby status and has a ringing rejection flag set OFF, and makes the speech communication device perform call request notification when the device is present. When there is not such a speech communication device, the telephone body 20 makes the speech communication device which has an in-calling status and also has a ringing rejection flag set OFF, perform interrupt call request notification.
