METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REALIZING RECORDING IN CLIENT TERMINAL, AND RECORDING CONTROL ENTITY

A method and system for realizing recording in a client terminal, and a recording control entity are disclosed. The method is applied in an IPTV system based on IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), and includes the steps of: receiving a recording task, wherein the recording task includes an identification of recording content and/or an identification of a client terminal recording side; controlling the client terminal recording side to record the media content according to the identification of the recording content and/or the identification of the client terminal recording side. By applying the embodiments of the present invention, the recording of the client terminal can be realized by the interaction between every one of entities in a network, and user experience while using IPTV service based on IMS can be improved.
