PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing of a planetary gear mechanism capable of reducing sliding resistance of a cage by suppressing the outer peripheral face and the inner peripheral face of the cage from coming in contact with a planetary gear and a center shaft. SOLUTION: This roller bearing is equipped with a plurality of rollers 11 incorporated between a center hole 5 and a center shaft 6 of a planetary gear 4 of the planetary gear mechanism, and the cage 20. The cage 20 includes first and second annular parts 21, 22, and a plurality of column parts 30 defining a plurality of pockets 23. Roller stopping projections 40 each having an inclined roller contacting face 41 that is narrow on the inner diameter side and becomes gradually wider toward the outer diameter side are provided on opposing faces of the plurality of column parts 30. When A is the dimension of a gap between the outer peripheral face of the cage 20 and the inner peripheral face of the center hole 5 of the planetary gear 4, B is the dimension of a gap between the inner peripheral face of the cage 20 and the outer peripheral face of the center shaft 6, and C is the dimension of a gap between the roller contacting face 41 of the roller stopping projection 40 and the outer peripheral face of the roller 11, the relation " A>C<B " is satisfied.
