<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zipper device with excellent outside appearance, capable of preventing theft and allowing a user to smoothly open/close the zipper. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The zipper device includes a pair of zipper tapes 2 attached to an opening edge of a storage body 1, and a slider 4 to engage or separate a number of teeth of the pair of zipper tapes 2. The slider 4 includes an operating stick 8 projectable from and retractable into the storage body 1, and the storage body 1 internally has a sliding restraining member 12 formed with an insertion hole 13. When the operating stick 8 is forced into the storage body 1 from the slider 4 located at a position to close the pair of zipper tapes 2, the operating stick 8 is inserted into the insertion hole 13 of the sliding restraining member 12.
