<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a pier-type road combining early opening of a road at the disaster restoration or the like and subsequent proper restoration work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The height of each of a plurality of driven steel pipe piles 3 is set to a predetermined height, and then a cylindrical pile head cap 2 with a plate member 12 mounted to the upper part is put on the head top of each steel pipe pile 3. A plurality of bolts 13 are screwed into threaded holes of nuts 18 welded to a cylindrical part 11 of each pile head cap 2, from the outside of the cylindrical part 11, and the outer periphery of the steel pipe pile 3 is pressed by the tip parts of the bolts 13 to fix the pile head cap 2 to the head top of the steel pipe pile 3. An H-shape steel cross beam 4 is fixed to the plate members 12 of a plurality of pile head caps 2 by bolts 15 and nuts 16, and H-shape steel main girders 5 are fixed to the H-shape steel cross beam 4 by bolts 15 and nuts 16.
