PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a non-circular tubular body provided with a small cylindrical part in the end part, with which impact force acting on the circumferential surface of the tubular body when approaching a roller, is reduced without causing cracks on the circumferential surface. SOLUTION: By bringing the entire surfaces of a contact surface 111 and a contact surface 121 into contact with a prescribed contact range 102 in the axial direction of the circumferential of the tubular body 100 by a first holding tool 11 and a second holding tool 12, the tubular body 100 is held by making the cross section of the tubular body 100 in the contact range 102 an elliptical form. In a state that the tubular body 100 is rotated together with a first holding tool 11 and the second holding tool 12, drawing is applied to a range which is not held by the first holding tool 11 and the second holding tool 12 in the circumferential surface of the tubular body 100 with the roller 22.
