3-DIMENSIONAL JUNCTION SOLAR CELL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A three dimensional junction solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the power productivity of the solar cell by forming a buffer layer and an absorbent layer on a three dimensional transparent electrode in order to form a large junction area. CONSTITUTION: An n-type semiconductor layer which is composed of ZnO including aluminum(n-Al:ZnO) is coated on a substrate. A trench is formed on the substrate. An n-type CdS buffer layer is coated on the trench of the substrate. A CIGS p-type semiconductor layer is coated on the n-type CdS buffer layer. The CIGS p-type semiconductor layer is a light absorbent layer.
