<p>A zoom lens system, an imaging device, and a camera. The zoom lens system comprises, in order from the object side to the image side, a first lens group having a positive power, a second lens group having a negative power, a third lens group having a positive power, and a fourth lens group having a positive power. The first lens group comprises not more than two lens elements, the second lens group comprises two lens elements, and the third lens group comprises three lens elements. The zoom lens system satisfies the condition of nd > 1.75 (where nd is the refractive index, relative to a d-line, of the lens elements forming the zoom lens system). Although small in size, the zoom lens system has a well-balanced combination of a wide angle and a high zoom ratio at the wide-angle end.</p> |
