In an absorbent article (1), each groove of a pair of grooves (10) in a center region in the length direction (L) has a first section (3A) formed into a convex curve on the inside in the width direction (W), and a second section (3B) and a third section (3C) which are connected to the two ends of the first section (3A) and formed into convex curves on the outside in the width direction (W). The radius of curvature of the first section (3A) is smaller than the radius of curvature of the second section (3B) and the third section (3C). A virtual line (V1) which connects side surfaces (13B2) and (13C2), which are opposite the side surfaces (13B1, 13C1) forming the outermost parts of the second section (3B) and the third section (3C) in the width direction (W), is positioned further to the outside in the width direction (W) than a side surface (13A2) opposite a side surface (13A1) forming the innermost part of the first section (3A) in the width direction (W).
