<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive self-adhesive and a heat-sensitive self-adhesive material maintaining self-adhesive power to a rough-surfaced adherend such as cardboard over a prolonged period of time even in a cool environment, and also having good blocking resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive self-adhesive contains at least a thermoplastic resin, a solid plasticizer, and a tackifying agent, wherein the tackifying agent is a tackifying agent emulsion which is prepared by emulsifying in the presence of a polymeric emulsifier.
