<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming technique capable of surely preventing printing on a fabric other than a fabric designated by a print job from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 30 compares the designated fabric information designated by information on the print job with information on a mounted fabric related on the fabric mounted on a printer 50 before executing the print job transmitted from a client terminal 10.
