<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarization functional element which can be manufactured at low cost, act as a linear polarization element in a specified wavelength or the frequency, and acts as an optical rotator of a different wavelength or frequency. <P>SOLUTION: In the polarization functional element 1, a plurality of bent bodies 4, each being provided with a first linear line part 4a and a second linear line part 4b extended in a first direction and a connection part 4c, connecting the terminal of the first liner line part and the terminal of the second liner line part to each other and extended in a direction different from the first direction are arranged so as to be located apart from each other, in the first direction and the second direction intersecting the first direction at right angles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
