PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for management of operation log to achieve reliability improvement in a stored operation log for a fault such as a resource shortage or an error in an information processing terminal with severe restrictions on resources such as a memory, a storage capacity and a battery. SOLUTION: A device 100 for management of operation log includes: an operation information storage unit 111 storing operation information OP; a storage flag setting unit 112 maintaining a storage flag indicating whether or not the information OP is stored in a memory 31, setting the storage flag when the storage unit 111 stores the information OP and erasing the storage flag when the storage of the information OP in a storage 30 is completed; and an activation time log unit 118 referring to the storage flag when the device 100 is activated, and storing a log to indicate a failure of storage of an operation log LG in the storage 30 and erasing the storage flag when the storage flag indicates the storage of the information OP.
