PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of dispensing specimen reducing carry-over between specimens and an analyzer for dispensing the specimens by the method of dispensing specimen. SOLUTION: The method of dispensing specimen for the analyzer to analyze many items for one specimen includes a dispensing order determining step (step S102) of determining the dispensing order of the analyzing items for one specimen based on the specimen dispensing amount or specimen suction amount required for each analysis item, and a dispensing step (step S104 and step S105) of sequentially dispensing the analysis items for one specimen in the order determined in the dispensing order determining step. By employing an easy method of dispensing the specimens firstly when the specimen dispensing amount or specimen suction amount required for each analysis item are large, the effect of washing of the dispensing probe performed every specimen dispensation can be acquired cumulatively, and the carry-over between the specimens can be effectively reduced under washing sequence.
