<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a girder reinforcing structure of an overhead crane, capable of lengthening the service life of a girder, by precisely reinforcing the girder to the lateral force applied from a wheel, in the overhead crane having a structure for moving the wheel on a rail arranged on the girder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A ladle crane has a structure for moving the wheel 21 of a club trolley 20 on a traverse rail 19 arranged on a traverse box girder 15. A plate-like restricting member 30 for restricting the rail 19 is arranged in a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction of the girder 15 on the girder 15 so as to oppose the lateral force applied to the rail 19 from the wheel 21.
