摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the practicality of a suspension system including an electromagnetic actuator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: At each of right front, left front, right rear and left rear wheel sides of a vehicle, when a portion of the vehicle vibrating when the vehicle travels is defined as a vibration part and when vibration of the vibration part due to a force generated by the actuator is defined as a self-excitation vibration, the self-excitation vibration generated to any one of the vibration part on the front wheel side and the vibration part on the rear wheel side is detected based on a vibration strength I<SB>M_FR</SB>of the vibration part on the front wheel side and a vibration strength I<SB>M_RR</SB>of the vibration part on the rear wheel side positioned on the same side in the right-to-left direction (S72). Accordingly, when the self-excitation vibration occurs to any one of the vibration parts, riding comfort, steering stability and the like of the vehicle can be improved by coping with the excitation vibration (S74, 77, 79, 80).
