PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eight row reaping combined harvester which can divide grasses without splitting the stumps of grain straws with dividers, smoothly convey the grain straws, and reap the grain straws without disordering the grain straws. SOLUTION: The eight row reaping combined harvester 1 has nine dividers, and the divider which is fourth from the left end and sixth from the right end among the nine dividers on the inside of the machine frame is placed at a reaping standard position. The nine dividers are arranged so not to split the stumps of the grain straws planted in a Shaku (a Japanese unit of length) planting or in a Shaku-Issun (another Japanese unit of length) planting, when the divider at the reaping standard position is placed at the center of right and left grain straws. A direction sensor 18 for automatically controlling the direction is attached to a divider frame 23a for supporting the divider at the reaping standard position, and when the right and left sensor bars 18L, 18R of the direction sensor 18 contact with grain straws, the traveling direction of the machine frame is modified in the direction opposite to the sensor bars 18L, 18R on the contacted side.
