PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio equipment and a radio network, which can improve communication efficiency. SOLUTION: Radio equipment contained in a transmission group multicasts an RTS packet. Radio equipment 6 to 9 receive the RTS packets. Radio equipment 8 having the best communication quality with radio equipment 3 among radio equipment 6 to 9 multicasts the CTS packet. Radio equipment 2 to 5 receive the CTS packets. Radio equipment 4 having the best communication quality with radio equipment 8 among radio equipment 2 to 5 transmits the data packet to radio equipment 8. Radio equipment 8 receives a data packet and transmits an ACK packet to radio equipment 3 being a transmission source of the RTS packet.
