PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved technology for reducing the time required for a client to specify a new content out of content held in a server. SOLUTION: The server 20 includes: a storage part 23; an input part 21; and a control part for, every time the input part 21 receives an input of content, newly or additionally storing the content in a content storage area of the storage part 23, newly or additionally storing in a first information storage area of the storage part 23 content list information in which content identification information identifying the content is associated with content information indicating the detail of the content, and periodically deleting all the content list information stored in the first information storage area.
