A method, a device and a base station for frequency band allocation are provided. The method includes: obtaining cell load of a cell; allocating range of frequency band of cell edge of the cell according to the cell load. Corresponding device, dispositifs et stations de base pourand base station are also provided by embodiments of this invention. Quality of service for users both in the center area of the cell and in the edge of the cell can be satisfied through the implement of the embodiments in this invention.
