PURPOSE: An air cleaning filter and a method for manufacturing the filter are provided to efficiently decompose allergen among the air, especially allergen of dust mites by including a proteinase coated to a carrier. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaning filter includes a carrier and a proteinase coated on the carrier and decomposes allergen. The carrier is glass fiber, ion exchange fiber, cellulosic fiber, asbesotos fiber, organic fiber, or inorganic fiber. The carrier is metal or a plastic. The carrier is an activated charcoal deodorization filter. The proteinase is subtilisin A, Bacillus licheniformis protease or proteinase K. The allergen is dust mites.
