<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformer equipped with an evaporator where the releasing amount of a gas-phase fluid is controlled to be uniform, where the releasing of a liquid-state fluid is reduced or prevented and which is miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: The evaporator 10 comprises: a bottom wall 111d having a circumferential wall and an outflow port; an evaporating chamber 112 which is defined by the circumferential wall and the bottom wall 111d and which receives the liquid-state fluid; and a barrier 15 which is projected from the bottom wall to the evaporating chamber, which prevents the release of the liquid-state fluid to the outflow port penetrating the bottom wall and which permits the release of the gas-phase fluid. The fuel reformer includes: a reforming reaction part; an evaporating part where at least one of a fuel and water is vaporized to the gas-phase fluid and the gas-phase fluid is supplied to the reforming reaction part; and a heat source part to supply heat to the reforming reaction part and the evaporating part. The evaporating part being defined by the bottom wall and the circumferential wall and having an opening penetrating the bottom wall has the evaporating chamber to receive the liquid-state fluid and the barrier projecting from the bottom wall to the evaporating chamber, preventing the release of the liquid-state fluid to the opening and permitting the release of the gas-phase fluid to the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
