<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element or a touch panel preventing reflection on a front glass and suppressing darkened display, during observation with polarized glasses in an on-vehicle liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: In the arrangement of the optical element or the touch panel 11 to a liquid crystal panel 10, a first polarizing plate 110, a first retardation film 111, a touch panel electrode part 112, a C plate 113, a uniaxial inclined film (a second retardation film) 114 and a second polarizing plate 100, stuck to a light emission surface of the liquid crystal panel 10 are arranged starting from the display surface side. The direction of a transmission axis 110j of the polarizing plate 110 is formed, by rotating a vertical direction counterclockwise by 10°, the direction of a delay phase axis 111k of the first retardation film 111 is formed by rotating the transmission axis 110j of the first polarizing plate 110 counterclockwise by 45°, and the direction of an in-plane delay phase axis 114k of the inclined film 114 is formed, by rotating counterclockwise by 135°, with respect to a transmission axis 100j of the second polarizing plate 100 (the transmission axis is parallel to the first polarizing plate). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
