<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-termite structure of a building, which enables an anti-termite material to be easily fitted to a column material without a decrease in the strength of the anti-termite material, and which enables the anti-termite material for surely preventing the intrusion of a termite and feeding damage thereby to be mounted on the column material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This anti-termite structure of the building protects the building from the intrusion of the termite and the feeding damage thereby. In the anti-termite structure, the anti-termite material 10 with corrosion resistance against the termite is fitted via a spacer 20 to a surface portion of a portion, at a predetermined height or below, of the column material 4 erected on a sill 2 laid on the foundation 1 of the building. In the anti-termite material, an abutting piece 12 with the spacer 20 interposed in between is provided with a large number of vent holes 16. The spacer is provided with a large number of vent holes 23, and an anti-termite material-side surface of the spacer is provided with a protrusive streak 22 high enough to inhibit the passage of the termite. In a state in which the anti-termite material is fitted, the vent holes of the anti-termite material and those of the spacer establish the relationship of noncommunication with one another.
