PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of forming an image superior in endurance, development stability and charging stability in both of low-temperature and low-humidity, and high-temperature and high-humidity environments over a long term. SOLUTION: In the image forming method, a toner carrier comprises a shaft body and a resin layer disposed around the shaft body, wherein the resin layer contains polyether silicone compound, toner comprises: toner particles containing binder resin, colorant and wax; and fatty acid metal salt, an isolation rate of the fatty acid metal salt to the toner is in the range of 1.0% to 25.0% and, when number average particle size D1 of the toner particle is Dt (μm) and median diameter in a volume reference of the fatty acid metal salt is Ds (μm), the following relations are satisfied: 3.00≤Dt≤9.00, 0.10≤Ds≤1.0 and 0.02≤Ds/Dt≤0.25.
