PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing agent which prevents forgery without unnecessarily consuming toner or especially altering an apparatus in electrophotographic equipment. SOLUTION: The developing agent containing at least toner used for electrophotographic equipment contains fine particles consist primarily of resin in addition to the toner, and in which identification tags are formed. Preferably, the toner contains a binder resin, and the glass transition temperature Tg1(°C) of the resin as the main component of the fine particles and the glass transition temperature Tg2(°C) of the binder resin in the toner satisfy the following relation: Tg2<Tg1<(Tg2+10). Preferably, the toner contains a binder resin, and the melting point Tm1(°C) of the resin as the main component of the fine particles and the melting point Tm2(°C) of the binder resin in the toner satisfy the following relation: Tm2<Tm1<(Tm2+10).
