PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Yankee dryer coating agent capable of forming a uniform adhesive film of high tackiness on a low-tackiness coating film, in view of the fact that such capability has been highly desired in the creping step of producing sanitary paper. SOLUTION: The Yankee dryer coating agent contains, as the active ingredient, such a polyamide-polyamine-epichlorohydrin resin that, the reaction molar ratio of epichlorohydrin to the secondary amino groups of a polyamide-polyamine falls within a specific range, and, after the epichlorohydrin is reacted, the reaction molar ratio of a polybasic inorganic acid to unreacted secondary amino groups falls within a specific range in the resin.
