<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system smoothly decelerating a vehicle and a vehicle with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A shift control system includes: a CPU; a throttle sensor; a shift actuator; and fuel injectors. When detecting the control failure of the throttle valve with a value detected by the throttle sensor, the CPU adjusts the output of an engine by controlling the fuel injectors such that a motorcycle runs with a preset negative target acceleration.
